Post Glaciation

Spent a really great day yesterday at Peggy’s Cove with JB.  I don’t get down there much but when there are guests it town it’s a place you have to visit. It was a perfect day. Warm and no wind, wicked skies and a postcard sunset.

The above was taken while I was moving in between shooting locations. I wasn’t really sure it would make a good image but went with my gut.  Glad I did. I think it gives a pretty appropriate sense of the grandeur of the granite. It’s amazing to think that just 20,000 years ago where this picture was take was under a mile of ice.

A bit more info on how Peggy’s Cove came to be here.
